The location of the cottage is fantastic, situated in a beautiful and quaint village. Guests can enjoy walks right from the doorstep and even catch a glimpse of the steam train passing by in the garden. There are also plenty of nearby attractions such as waterfalls, dams, lakes, and a cafe within easy walking distance. the well-equipped kitchen with provided brew stuff and the cozy log burner in the evenings add to the overall charm of the cottage.
There were some issues with the cleanliness and maintenance of the property, including a damp smell and hair on the furniture and beds.

I recently stayed at Ty Kate Cosy Cottage for a few days to explore the beautiful North Wales region. The location of the cottage in a quaint village was perfect, with scenic walks right from the doorstep. I loved the fact that a steam train passed by the garden, adding to the unique charm. The nearby waterfall, dam, lakes, and cafe were all within easy walking distance, making it convenient for outdoor activities. The cottage itself was well-equipped, with a kitchen that had everything I needed, including brew supplies and little extras. On rainy days, there were games and books provided, and in the evenings, the fantastic log burner added a cozy touch. a great stay!
I do recommend this hotel.

A children's playground was available for guests to use, perfect for getting some peace and quiet. The garden and terrace provided a stunning view of someone else's garden. The free WiFi allowed me to update my social media with pictures of my amazing stay.
I absolutely loved everything, there was absolutely nothing to complain about, I mean, who doesn't enjoy a dark and dingy room with a fusty smell? Just splendid.

Cute cottage with a lovely garden view. Free WiFi, so I could stay connected while enjoying the tranquil surroundings. The nearby playground was a nice addition, but my inner child refused to come out and play.
Absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything was just perfect.

We had a fantastic stay at Ty Kate , the location was perfect! Just a short 2, minute drive and you're at Zip World, and there were beautiful walks right outside our door. the cottage itself was incredibly cozy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the little garden with seating, which would be perfect for summer evenings. the host had thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable, from a well, equipped kitchen to a lovely log burner. We even had a great view of the Ffestiniog trains passing by. We can't wait to come back!
Nothing all good! 😊.

The cottage was incredibly cosy, with everything we needed provided. We didn't have to worry about bringing much as towels and other essentials were already provided. the inventory was really complete. the location was perfect for us, as it was in a quiet village with beautiful surroundings. We loved being able to go on hikes and explore the area right from our doorstep. And the cherry on top was sitting by the log burner in the evenings, enjoying the warmth and comfort it provided.
The property itself was a bit dark and dingy, which made it feel less appealing. There was also a noticeable damp smell, especially downstairs, which was not very pleasant.
